dynamic parameter restriction

I am using cr 2008.

i have a dynamic parameter which i use to select bank account number. The accounts are of several types and I want to make the dynamic list restricted to certain types or omit certain types of this other field. I can obviously restrict in report selection but idealy it looks better if you can actually restrict what is in the list. Any ideas please?

Instead of pointing to a table holding your dynamic list create a command which filters lst as required.

Write a command, how do I do this then please

Database--> Database Expert-->Double Click on Database Name-->Double click on Add Command (below the database name) and then you can write the SQL query in the window that opens up.
