Dynamic parameter in Crystal 10

Crystal XI has a Dynamic Parameter option. Is there a way to do this in Crystal 10?

Example is a report on inventory item numbers. You want to give the user a choice of all items currently in the database. If you do a “Browse table/field” option when creating the parameter in Crystal 10, it shows the current items in the database. If you add a bunch of items, the drop down list the user sees does not change to reflect newly added items.

No such option in Crystal 10 but one of the 3rd-party viewers listed at

provides special dynamic & cascading parameter functionality even for older Crystal versions. You will need to create a Crystal report to provide the values of the parameter.
