Dynamic Parameter for only those items that are in report

I want to create a Dynamic Parameter in CR XI that would prompt for locations. Trouble is, I don't want the Dynamic Parameter to display the 300 locations in the LOCATIONS table, just those locations that would end up in the results of the report (maybe 10 of the 300). Anyone have thoughts on how to do this?

You could create a command that limits the locations using your report criteria:

Select table.location
from table
where //etc.

Then reference the command to populate the dynamic parameter pick list only. Do not link the command to your main report tables and do not reference it within the report.
