Hi All

i'm using Cisco 3600

i'm usually use static NAT (all IPs will go out as one IP address).

there is a suggestion to move to Dynamic NAT (all IPs will go out with a pool of 100 public addresses).

my question : how can it effect on the router load? will it effect its performence?

Thanks ahead

My feeling is it will be a net benefit. Keeping track of so many users requires more processing and translation than reducing the tables and spreading them across several IP's. I wouldn't have thought 100 would be necessary unless you are a large organisation.

The advantage of using more IPs would be better traceability on the firewall.
