Hi,
i am pretty new to mdx, i didn't need it until now, because i could use the built-in Aggregate Functions like max, min, avg,... .
but now i need to calculate the median, which is not included in the buit-in functions.
all i need is a mdx-statement for a calculated member, that returns the median-value of a fact over different dimensions and levels, which the user can choose on his client software dynamically (just like the built-in aggregate function avg or count)
i know there is a median-function, but in all examples i could find, as the first parameter there was a dimension and dimension-level specified, but i want that the user can drill through and can choose the dimensions on his own.
thanks in advance!
