Dynamic IP address forwading software?

I'm looking for any software that can send an email to my email account that will notify me when my Dynamic IP address has changed on my router that is connected to my DSL.

I connect to my router remotely to make changes and view logs. I want to be notified when my IP changes and what the new IP is. So that I always have access to the router.

Not exactly what you describe, but it should do what you need much better than what you describe.

It might be possible to do what you are describing, depending upon your OS and topology. Probably can't do it directly from the router.

dynamic dns. set the script up to run every minute, and you don't need to worry about it anymore...
