dynamic images

Hi guys,

is there any way to dynamically display images (jpg and gif) in a flash movie without converting them into swf and without using generator? it would of much help to me. thanks and i hope to hear from you soon!

Don't think so!
Although, if it's the cost of Generator that's bugging you, Rube did answer a similar post from you a while back, where she suggested the use of the free JGenerator ->

PS: BTW, will be e-mailing you shortly that .fla for text boxes that can be edited ouside of Flash. Would need some adapting to open PDF files, but it'll start you off in the right direction!

i was a bit confused myself. i wasnt doing anything involving pdf files. thanks for the input. i forgot about that thread of mine. will be studying Jgenerator until the weekend. i am looking for tutorials on this.

I guess a lot of ppl are now named "big" huh? i wonder if this is because they ran out of names or if ppl are really getting bigger than our ancestors these days! hehehe ;-)
