dynamic images question

i have a samples page where i list some work i've done. i was making a separate movie clip for each instance that i load when a user selects it

basically they're all the same clip, just different picture and descriptive text. is there a better way to accomplish this, like with some sort of dynamic images?

you would probably have more control and it would be easier to update if you loaded everything dynamically. at its simplest all you would require is a holder for the image and a dynamic text box.

that's what i was doing, basically. i have an empty clip that i call loadMovie on. my question is, if i do that for every sample, i would end up with lots of identical clips, just different pics and text

is there a way i can make 1 template to handle this?

no.... you only have the one empty clip into which you load the images as and when needed, same as you only have one text box whose contents change depending on user action

If you have Flash MX - look in the FlashMX>>Samples>>FLA>>load_images -- this is a template example for what I think you are looking for. If you don't have it and need it, I can email.

I was wondering if it's possible to manage images that fade into one another in a movieclip using an admin interface? Can anyone direct me to a tutorial?
