I can't search at the moment, so apologies if I'm asking a question that's been answered in the past.
I would like to be able to prompt the user (or else use a form for entry) for a crosstab query.
If i use the usual method in the query design for criteria eg.[Enter variable1], it doesn't work.
If you need more information:
I've got a series of student reviews (1,2,3,4 - for the grades at various stages of the year)... I want to be able to count up the number of grades for a particular stage and compare with a different stage.
stage / class / A / B / C / D / E
1 / XY / 7 / 3 / 2 / 1 / 0
2 / XY / 5 / 6 / 1 / 0 / 1
1 / ZZ / 1 / 3 / 14 / 1 / 0
etc.
Any ideas?
cheers, jr
