dynamic buttons using xml ?

hello all

i am a newbie to flash action scripting. i need to create a navigational menu by reading a XML file in flash.

what is required is to create buttons/movieclips by reading the XML nodes at one level. when one of them is clicked, these buttons/movieclips should be replaced by the XML nodes at one lower level of the selected node and so on.there should also be a button/movieclip "Back" which takes u back to one level up.

i am really stuck. what i did achieve was a menu with movieclips , that popped on the right side of the selected node,on RollOver and DragOver events. but i m unable to achieve this on a click event.

please help.

What version of Flash are you using?
