Dynamic Alerts

Hello Everyone,

Is there a way that an alert can be applied to a new tab created with a template.It is like this, i have a report with a tab say Tab A which also has a template Tmplt A.
I am creating a new tab B with Tmplt A.My old Tab- Tab A has an alert and i want to apply the same alert to Tab B.
I tried this but the new template drops all the alerts that it had when it was a report.VBA does not seem to have an ability to create a dynamic alert as dynamic filter.
Any help would be appreciated.

Have you tried applying the template after you create the tab?

Yes.I tried it after creating the tab.I already have another alert to display different background color on the alternate row.When i apply the template the alert(alternate rows) works but not the new one and to mention this alert compares the variables.
