Ok let me explain a little. I've got a cisco 831 router where NAT is setup and the computers get a dynamic address. The 831 has the stateful inspection firewall enabled and everything is logged to my computer. My problem is that I don't always get the log because I don't always have the same ip. Is there anyway to keep all the other computers setup for dynamic address and then setup my computer so its a static address (and still protected by the firewall and NAT) so I always get the logs? Thanks in advanced.

I am a bit surprised by this question. First, lets say that your inside network is 192.168.1.0/24. Create a DHCP scope that includes only part of the range (say 192.168.1.5-100) or ... use the DHCP exclusion command to exclude your computer's IP address from the DHCP server. The command is ....

ip dhcp excluded-address x.x.x.x

where x.x.x.x is the address of your machine. That way you have a static IP address while everyone else has a dynamic one.
