Hello

I am fairly new to Novell. Well basically all I can do right now is Add user accounts, Passwords and stuff like that. Anyways this Novell system is set up to create a dynamic account which it does. The problem is that when it creates it and you log out it does not use that same account an creats another one; for example:

account
account.001
account.002

and so forth. Is ther any way to have it use the original account it created?

The server is a Novell 6 and the Clients for Novell are the latest ones from the web site. The host machines are windows XP Pro.

TIA
Dave

on the pc's in the user manager
does it have created by novell workstation manager?

it should use the same one
you dont have any ms domains or anything weird

just a proper server and then the clients?

Thank you for your response Terry712

In the local user an groups snap-in it says the account was created by windows. This is on a corecctly working machine.

There is nothing wierd on this network. Just a Novell server and about 285 workstations. there is like only 3 or 4 machines that I know of right now that are acting like this.
