When ever i run dxdiag and do a 3d test the boxs spins unusually fast! Is there reason this is? And also is it possible to delete direct9 and if so how?

Does the test report any problems? My guess is that it's not a big deal if it spins fast.

DirectX cannot be uninstalled in the traditional way. There are lots of web sites which claim to have tools or instructions on how to do it though. Do a Google search for "DirectX uninstall", or start with this web page.

I had v-sync turned off so that is why it was spinning so fast but my opengl is still all rainbowish looking!
