dw_1.getrow() = 0

I retrieve succesfully from a datawindow and get 1 row

I try to say dw_1.getrow() and I get zero everytime

I regenerated the objects ans still no success.

dw_1 is shared with dw_2

Any clues why this is happening

Getrow returns the row number of the current row (the row with focus). Simply retrieving data with a datawindow does not set a current row. To do this you would use the setrow method.

The problem was there were 4 columns on the dw. 1 was editable. at runtime the editable field was disabled in another function. that is why get row failed
