DW6000 and netgear router..issues

I read through all the issues with dw6000 and satellite broadband but could not come up with a specific answer for what I need.. Here the situation... two machine network and they just got DW with the DW6000 modem... my thoughts from the beginning were "dynamic" since I have not seen a satellite configuraiton before. Okay so I call tech support and ask if the config is static or dynamic.. ITS STATIC no problem... They guide me to the "modem control panel" to get this info. I config my netgear router with all of this information....no connection. I'm thinking is a gateway issue...?? Please...any advise from someone who has come across this issue and who can shine some light on the situation... Much Thanks!

Never Mind all Fixed.... I would suggest to use a hub or a switch; not a router... The DW6000 is a router, firewall, NAT config etc... to share the connection, add a hub or a switch connect the machine and it works. Hope this helps others
