dw mx w/asp.net on xp/pro - Testing Server won't work?

Hi Folks,
I'm trying to install DW MX with ASP.NET server option on an XP Pro (SP2) desktop and I just can't seem to get the testing server to work. IIS 5.0 is up and running. If I browse to a test page it displays. I downloaded a macromedia patch for SP2 and it still won't work. Any info on this would be greatly appreciated. Been working on this for weeks with no positive results.
