DW for multiple countries 1

If a company has offices spread across Asia, and it wants to embark on a DW project, (considering the language/legal/currency/cultural differences etc) would you suggest having a single integrated DW or a DW for each country?
 
I think you have identified the correct aspects to the decision. For instance, legal requirements (for instance privacy) may force you to have individual DW's. And having a separate DW is a sales bonus if you should sell one division.

Separate seems to have more flexibility, but you can, perhaps, enforce conformed dimensions as much as possible to ease the next step......

You may want to have a consolidated datamart where transactions are consolidated, currencies converted, etc.
