Need to access a DVR camera system at office from home. Using a Watchguard Firebox but not sure what or how to configure for remote access with our static IP address. Should we VPN in and than access the IP address for the DVR that way or just direct to DVR camera system with the static IP?

Please help with any suggestions or links for solutions. I think that I need to setup a 1to1 NAT and rule/policy but not sure of this yet.

If you are concerned about 'the public' seeing what is on the camera, a VPN would be a good solution. Once you are connected via VPN, it should work just like you were at the office. Otherwise, you could port/ip map your camera to a public IP address.
