Can any one tell me or point me to where I can get info on how to extract the music track off of a concert on DVD. I have this DVD of a concert but I can to be able to make a music CD out of it. Can some one give an idea?

For every problem there is a solution, for every solution there is a tech behind it.

Well you can't just extract the audo. The format is mpeg2 and this is video and audio in one stream. If you would want to do it you first should rip the dvd to your hard disk and proceed from there. But facing the fact that this is illegal because of copyright protections your question is not in place on this forum.

Got it. Thanks for your assistance.

Assuming the disk belongs to you and you want the copy for your own use, I think its a protected fair use activity. In that case, I would use an audio recorder to pick up the sound from your sound card. I've done this with tapes with good success. Make sure the recorder can write to disk while it is recording versus one which captures everything in memory.
