Last night, I realised my dvd-rom drive and my cd-rw drive are not reading any cd's. I opened device manager and I have a yellow exclamation mark on both drives. Power lights go on, when I run POST, but, they just won't read any cd's? I opened the computer case and the IDE ribbon cable in properly in place. I am running WIndows XP Home and I have an Intel 2.0 ghz processor. What could be the problem?

Thanks,
Omar

Remove both of them from Device Manager and re-start. Windows should reinstall them.
