Dvd plays music but no video?

Hello,

I just bought a new Sony Dvd drive but cant seem to get it to display video at all, I hear sound and it is hooked up right but no picture. Im using an Nvidia Geforce3 ti500 with the latest drivers, the older 40.XX drivers work (with the player) but only sometimes. Is there a problem with the newer Nvidia drivers and Dvd playback????
