Hi all,
I have a HP Omnibook Xe2, with a Toshiba SD-C2402, I am using power DVD software, I am region free and have just upgraded the bios of the machine. When I try to play DVDs I get this message,

Motherboard using ALi,SiS or VIA series chipset, install IDE or bus master drive to enable DMA mode..

I am not sure what I am supposed to do now or where to get this software....help!!!!

thanks in advance
Babs

If you've recently upgraded the BIOS, chances are fair that DMA mode was disabled. Go into the BIOS and set DMA mode to UDMA 2. You may also have to do this in Device Manager.
