I've got a new build running XP, 512 ram, Athlon 2700 on a MSI K7N2GM2-LSR MB. I've tried 3 different DVD/CD drives and all will operate perfectly well with boot discs but once XP loads I get the message that "CD may be corruped or unable to read format" and Explorer sometimes locks up. Could it be something to do with DMI? I know the discs are OK because they are the ones I've used to boot from and that works OK. They also work fine in other computers I have.
