Hello everyone, I have an issues that's puzzling. My drive will burn DVD's happily and cause no problems, but it will not: read CD's, write CD's, play CD's, etc., etc., etc. Help?
My OS is Windows XP Professional running under a Slot 1 Pentium III 500 mhz FSB100 chip and Excell 2000 chipset on a M741lmrt mother board. I have 768 mb's of SDRAM all live and seen by BIOS.
I did notice I'm unable to find the Biosinfo.inf when I tried to use the floppy disk install to try and do a repair of my XP. I'm told by sfc /scannow that I have .dll cache problems and it's asking for the cd, which the system states: CD: drive is busy. Help? Thanks all.
