DV camera capture hell

Im using SAMSUNG DV VP85i camera
Dazzle Video Studio SE (firewire)
Ulead Photo Studio
Win 98 on Celery566/64.

Installed the firewire card - no problem at all. No conflicts, no yellow warnings in device manager.

Installed software, no probs, followed instructions for capture but i get an error saying that the video could no be captured - the file is corrupt ! Any help much appreciated. T3/\/\p()

I think the Celeron 566 and 64 Mb is niot enough for videoprocessing.
What is the Cel566? It's the 66MHz system bus, the memory at same speed and HDD at no more than UDMA33. It's too slow.

but you would at least expect it t ostart - im not even getting an image on screen - its as if the camera isnt there..... T3/\/\p()
