I am having a problem getting accurate durations to display in Microsoft Project 2003.
Basically what I have is a bunch of tasks that need to be completed in succession. (It is checkout of many instruments). The average time to check these out is 15 minutes an instrument. (I have added two resources so that the duration should be 7.5 minutes an instrument).
When the tasks are rolled up the duration shows around 4.5 days to complete this task. (we have a 12 hour / 7 day calendar assigned). The problem comes into play when you look at the dates in the "start" and "finish" columns. That shows 9 days being used.
I have been struggling for the past couple of days trying to get the durations correct, but have had NO success. Anyone have any ideas?
