Hi

We are currently using NetWorker Version 7.5.1.
Is there any option in the NetWoker to find the duration of a client ran when it was backed up weeks before?

Not from NW any more. However, this info is still available from the NMC reports.

But why do you want to know such an old duration of a client backup? - Just retry to see what it will take now.

Hi

Actually we are trying to reschedule the groups. So for that we need the running time of some backups that ran before.
Can u pls let me know how to fetch info from NMC reports?

I do not use the NMC reports a lot - i guess, most of us just ignore them. But if you click the Reports icon, look at the NetWorker Backup Statistic folder. Here you find the Save Set Details by Client report which might help you. From here, the use is similar to NW's Save Set query and you should be able to get along easily.

Do not forget that your success depends on the size of the NMC database (adjustable) and the number of backups you have run in the interim - your info might have already been deleted.

NetWorker still has savegroup notifications.

Check the action field for this notification to see where it sends the group report to.

By default, the default is to use nsrlog to send the savegroup completion to the /nsr/logs/savegroup.raw.

Some administrators prefer to change this to email the reports.
