Does anyone have a good Job Aid for setting up Engenius DuraFon-SIP phones to IP Office? I have used their 1X phones in the past, but they are no longer available. The SIP version seems like a great concept, but I cannot get mine, with 3 handsets, to register to my IP Office R11.1.

I have set up the Extensions and Users in Manager. I have the 3rd Party IP Endpoints. I have also set up each handset according to the only job aid I could find. Any direction, OR link to a good job aid, would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

run a monitor trace with the SIP options enabled and post here. It will help us know what is happening.

The most common thing that gets overlooked often is SIP registrar on the interface. System>LAN1>VOIP>Enable SIP Registrar

If this is not enabled your SIP phones will not connect to the system.

The truth is just an excuse for lack of imagination.

Thank you for your efforts. After MUCH trial and error, the only thing that allowed the extensions to register to the IP Office was changing the NAME field on the User to the extension number. I don't know what changed between these products. In the past, I was able to use any otherwise-acceptable name in that field. I suppose that with the tightening of security in these products some unmentioned restrictions have come up. Thank you again.

Actually it sounds like the phone wanted to register to the system with the user name instead of the extension. Once you changed the name to the extension it worked.
