durable caller id phone ?

I need to get a single line analog phone that has caller id module something that would be very durable as it would be subject to some abuse, let me know what brand works best

Outside of telephones built into protective enclosures (no caller ID with them) today's consumer telephones are not designed to stand up to abuse like the old Western Electric 500 series phones from years gone by.

One alternative might be to purchase a caller ID box and, if possible, mount it to a wall or some other secure surface. If you need just a basic telephone, you could use a Western Electric or Cortelco 2500 unit.

If it ain't broke, I haven't fixed it yet.

no no that is quite alright, I hadn't really considered the cordless, as the engenius tended to be more expensive, I'll have to see if I can get management to buy the expense,

Sometimes you have to improvise with what is available.

Usea a standard cheap analog phone and enclose the caller id box next to it in plexiglass
