Does anydody know how to script the task of automating duplication while altering the retention level of those duplicates?
There are tapes that contain normal backups with a one month retention. Each week, those tapes will be duplicated. The goal is the make those tapes duplicate automatically at a particular time. At the same time, those dupes will get a retention of one year.
Has anybody seen any scripts that can do this?
Does anybody have any ideas on how to go about completing this task?
