I have a view table that i have created on oracle 9i database in order to produce this report.however, for some reason i am getting a duplicate record as you see above.i did try to select a distinct recod by checking distinct record and i also have a distinct clause in my view table.if some one has any idea how i can eliminate this duplicate fields please help me out.

A View isn't a table.

Check the data more closely, you'll find that one of the fields selected in the Database->SHOW SQL QUERY differs.

Try posting:

Crystal version
Database/connectivity used
Example data
Expected output

Since you've not posted anything about the tables, relationships, the View SQL, nor anything technical, I'll just suggest that you group by whatever fields make it unique (all of the above, just the vendor, or ???), and place the fields into the Group footer instead of the Details for display purposes.
