Hi, I have the following problem with duplicates. The following is an example of the type of data problem that I have.
Roll Number Contact
1001.00 John Smith
1001.00 Ann Smith

Is there a way that when there are duplicates to somehow combine the data into one record. I am importing data from an external database (Great Plains Dynamics) and then attaching it to a GIS system. Because Dynamics uses Pervaisive SQL I cannot simply link the database to the GIS. Ultimately what I would like to end up with is one record per parcel.
Thanks, Michael Kohler

Are you trying to group on your Roll number I assume. Build a query with both of those fields. There is a button that will appear in the tool bar that looks like a summation symbol. Click on it. You'll get some fields in your query building grid its called the Total line. The default is group by. In the contact field change it from group by to First or Last. That should do it.
