We're about to upgrade our old CM 3.0 to 5.2.1. I'm looking at our hardware and I'm trying to determine if we have Control Network A and Control Network B or is the IPSI's merely duplicated. Is there an absolute way to tell??

You'll need to check the IPSI IP addresses and server routing table. From the server shell, run the following:

pingall -i
/sbin/route

If the A and B IPSIs route over different interfaces then you have separate control networks (There is a lot more to it than this but this should get you started).
