I'm looking for information for a duplicated groupswitch for redundancy.
I have been told that all of the GJUL4 boards have to be replaced if they are rof1375393/1, this has to be /2 they told.
We now have one Groupswitch Mag0 en Mag1, from each LIM one PCM connection goes to Mag0 and one goes to Mag1 of this groupswitch.
We have 30 GJUL4 boards at the moment (60 connections to GS)

If we want to have a duplicated switch does this mean that we need another 30 GJUL boards or how is this done (GroupSwitch connection is Twisted Pair)
How is this built up?

Its not easy to explain it by forum. You will have 2 identical groupswitch. As far as I know these 2 GS is not connected to each other. They are both working independently. Then you have example LIM1 GSMULT 0-0 GJUL4 which is on 1-0-00. The normal cable will be on the 1st group switch GJUG4/5 GSMULT 0-0. Then the 2nd cable will be on the second group switch GJUG4/5 GSMULT 0-0. Therefore in every GJUL4 you have 2 cables to GSM GSSIDE 0 and to GSM GSSIDE 1. After cabling it up, you need to initiate a command for GSM duplication. Then check if link is okay by command GJLSP:GSMULT=0-0;
