Duplicate Values - whats the best to remove?

Hi,

I know there are a few functions to remove duplicate values/rows. But what is the best one to use to remove, or not show duplicate rows on the report.

Please eleborate.

Did you try Database --> Select Distinct Records.

Hi Betty -

Not quite sure I understand. What do you mean database--> Select Distinct Records? I tried using the Insert Summary > Distinct Count

In the past I have used this function...

{CallLog.CallID}= previous({CallLog.CallID})

I right click the, left area, details section > Section Expert > Check 'Suppress (No Drill down) > click X-2 > and the enter the code above and save.

But, I am not sure this is the correct method? The reason is the total summary distinct count is around 22K and true count is about 9K. I got the 9k by exporting to excel and then removing duplicate records.

Almost sounds like you may have a table join issue.
