We have several wireless handsets which are built as I2002s.

After they tunr on and go through the initializing process, I see a "Duplicate TN" tyep error message.

When I print out the TNs, they are valid TNs in use by other phones/users.

How can I edit and assign these wireless phones to have a new/different TN? I guess I dont know how to lookup these wireless sets since the TNs refer to other phone sets.

Disclaimer: I am VERY new to telephony and phone systems, so please excuse my ignorance.

Thanks.

Most of the Nortel IP phones have a method of accessing the programming either via pressing 4 soft buttons below the display screen when you see the Nortel symbol on a I200x phone that is powering up, or by accessing a menu on the phone, usually with a password. This will depend on the model type.

On the I200x phones, if you see the "TN" message, then you can quickly move the arrow keys to enter in a different TN. I don't know how the wireless handsets are programmed. Have you got a manual?.

All the best
