Duplicate Report Content

I have a VFP6 report which is driving me mad.
I am reporting a single record from an invoice table which is linked to a customer table on customer number.
The customer's details are ok but the invoice content is being printed twice within the detail band. I have reduced the invoice table to 1 single record yet it continues to duplicate the output.
Can anyone suggest a possible cause?

All I can suggest is that you have two matching records in the customer table. Try writing a simple query to select the data that ought to be going into the report.

Thanks for that.
I have created a new table and the report's behaviour is what I expect. The customer table contains only unique records, and the original invoice table contained only 1 record but still repeated the content.
Looks like another one of those Foxpro-esque glitches which blight my life.

Is it possible that the tables you think the report is using are not the actual tables that it is using?

For example, if the tables in the report's data environment had the same names but were in a different location from the customer and invoice table that you are using ... that might explain the discrepancy.

Just a thought.

Looks like another one of those Foxpro-esque glitches which blight my life.

I know Fox does some weird things but it doesn't generate data out of fresh air. Might you have a deleted record that's acting as an anchor for the second record in the Join?
