duplicate project and change the Fact Table

Hi,

I am new to the Microstrategy, I need some tips to do my task involves change of fact table in a project.

I have to duplicate the project, change the fact table and change the related items.

I have duplicated the project from ProjA to ProjA_hist using duplicate project at project level.

Please provide steps/tips to change the FactA to FactA_hist and change the related items. The struture of FactA and FactA_hist tables are same.

What does changing the fact tables mean?
And why would you want to change the fact table????
