Duplicate MovieClips! question

Ok I have a mc named Main that has inside 3 other mcs
When I duplicate main the other 3 does not exist inside the main2.
How can I make a Main2 that inside the other mc exist!?
I am really confused!

How are you duplicating it? From within the Library?
