We have a mixed exchange site with 2 5.5 sp3 servers and 3 2k sp2 servers (part clustered). We have just changed from x400 and smtp to esmtp for external mail. The problem is we have some users who are receiving duplicate messages (a small number but still causing a problem). I have used the message tracking to try and identify the problem and it appears that the message is submitted to the mta serveral times. The user receives the mail at timed intervals (ie every 20 mins). This appears to be affecting users on the 5.5 servers. Any help would be appreciated.
