Please can anyone help with the following problem:
1st part:
I want to find records in a table with duplicate values in one of the fields. The results would give the following if Col4 was the Field of interest:
Col1|Col2|Col3|Col4|
1 2 4 5
3 4 6 5
2 5 7 5
1 4 6 5
2nd Part:
From here (and preferably in the same query, I want to only show those records with a duplicate value in Col1. In other words, Record 1 and Record 4 would be shown.
I'd REALLY appreciate help with this.
Thanks in advance.

Have you tried the 'find duplicates query wizard' it will do all the sql for you after answering a few simple questions.

Andy,
Yes, that's how I did Part 1. I couldn't figure out how to use the Wizard to carry out part 2 in the saem query.
Any ideas?
Thx.

Create another query based on the first query and define col1 as that which potentially contains duplicates

(i.e. a duplicates query on a duplicates query)
