We used account changer from Professional Tools and changed thousands of accounts in Great Plains.

I am trying to create a new account that used to exist before I changed it and I get the error 'The record has been created since your attempt to create it". I checked GL00105 and the new record was there so I removedit but I still get the error.

I ran a checklinks on Account Master and I get "Cannot insert duplicate key row in object 'frl_acct_code' with unique index 'XAKfrl_acct_code'.

I looked at the table called frl_acct_code and all my old accounts are there. Does anyone know if it would cause problems if I delete these accounts?

Also the table design shows acct_id field with Identity=No instead of Yes, is that okay?

thanks

Are you using the Gl Master Trigger within the PST Tool. If you are make sure that you change the accounts in the company that you are copying accounts to.

I figured this out. There was a script that needed to be run after Account Changer that updates frl_acct_code and I thought I had run it but hadn't. I ran it and it's all good now!

thanks.
