This is a weird one that I can't figure out.
A client has their internet provided by free.fr which come with a 'free box' adsl wireless router. They want me to set it up so 2 laptops can connect wirelessly which in itself shouldn't be a problem.
However, when they are both wireless (with dhcp activated) they both get the same ip address allocated and conflict. When one of them is wired into the router (ethernet), it still gets the same ip address as the wireless one but everything works fine; something I thought was nigh on impossible.
I think that the freebox is possibly only set up to lease one ip address and that is why the wireless problem is happeining, but haven't been able to get into the web interface for the router but have been told you configure it by connecting to the free.fr website.
ANy ideas?
Thanks,
Richard
