I have been doing a lot of work on my network switches in the past weeks and I have noticed a error message that is saying I have a duplicate IP address. I have tracked it down to the voice equipment so far. One says it is connected to the signal server and one to the VGMC. I am not sure what the VGMC is for or how to configure it to be quite honest. We haven't made any PBX changes so I am not sure why this is showing up now and the PBX doesn't seem to have any errors indicating a duplicate IP address. Suggestions? Thanks!

The VGMC is a Voice Gateway Media Card. Converts IP to TDM and vice versa. If you go into LD 117 and type stat serv it should show all devices and their respective IP addresses.

Should look something like this for a VGMC Card

120 10.122.186.28 NO SMC LINK UP Name
