duplicate HDD shows in Windows but isn't there

this is a followup to:

wherein i have now fixed that issue only now be confronted with a duplication of my HDD showing in the registry despite my attempts to delete it. Control Panel/Administrative Tools/Computer Management/Storage/Disk Management shows only C: and my attempts to remove within the registry the duplicate have failed. i'm not sure there is any performance issue, except that i need to be very vigilant about saving stuff as the default wants to be D:

i was hoping there'd be another answer. i did notice your answer, but that was in the midst dealing with the other challenge.

i'll see how this affects the performance.
