duplicate entries in shared calendar

A co-worker setup a shared calendar for a group of users.
First of all should I tell him not to user shared calendars.


When someone post a new appointment to it ...is creates 2 appts and some users are not seeing the appts at all !!

Should I tell them not to use shared calendars and just use proxy ???
