Duplicate Entries in Installation Manager

We're running a farm of 13 servers (Win 2k SP3 in an Nt4 domain) and have deployed 34 software packages via Installation Manager. All of these are in a group folder under IM but when we try to deploy the package group and put them in the order in which we'd like them to roll we have duplicate entries in the list.

We're running Metaframe XPe FR2 and the datastore sits on a clustered SQL 7 server.

We've tried deleting the packages and re-building them but the same problem persists. We also see data problems with defined packages that we've "moved" into an archive folder. It now exists in both folders and won;t go away!

Any ideas??

You will need DSVerify and run this with the clean option. That should fix the problem or multiple entries. Basically the database is somewhat corrupt and this should fix it post haste.

Thanks for that. I assume this isn't likely to do any damage as we only have the problem in the live environment and can't reproduce it in test or development?

We'll schedule it in one evening probably next week now. Will let you know how we get on with it anyway. Thanks for the info.
