I have been stuck on this problem for some time. I am using postfix and postfixadmin with spamassassin. Everything works great except for using transports in conjunction with a content filter. If I setup a forward via postfix admin it adds a forward via the transport mechanism. This seems to cause the email to pass through the postfix engine twice and deliver the email twice to the same user. I cannot seem to shut this off unless I disable the content filter.

Does anyone have any idea's
Please I am desperate!

Thanks

Dez

It sounds like the forward mechanism is saving a copy before it forwards. Is one message missing the Spamassassin headers?

No they both have the Spam Assassin headers. I should also note that I have already tried the option: -o receive_override_options=no_address_mappings and this has not helped.

Send a test email and watch the logs as it is delivered to postfix after spamassassin is done with it. That may give some clue as to where the second copy is coming from and rule out if spamassassin is the duplicating culprit.
