duplicate database files???

Hi all,

i have sql server and now suddenly i got some of the database file duplicate for example i have master database and also there is master$4IDR, distribution duplicate files, model and thre is model$4IDR, also with log too.

How can i deal with that and solve it, because it starts back up aotomatically even the back up job is not schedule for master and model and distibution database too..

Those DBs are created most likely by the Veritas backup software you are running.

what would i do can i delete those db files and log files. will it create any problems or not!!!
